We are currently accepting resume’s for the following positions:

Family Service Worker with our  Buckeye Lake and Newark Head Start and Early Head Start Programs.  This position is responsible for coordinating, collaborating and facilitating the effective delivery of social services and parent involvement to Head Start children, families and staff in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and licensing regulations.  This position operates as a liaison between classroom and home settings.

The qualified candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field.  Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree, Social Work Certificate or Licensure.  Applicant must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and a clean driving record for work related driving.  Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement, complete a background check, and a pre-employment physical.

Assistant Teacher with our Head Start/Early Head Start Programs in Utica.  This position is responsible to assist the classroom teacher in providing a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for the children while they are in the Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor play area and field trips).  To assist the classroom teacher in promoting the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of Head Start children.  To provide frequent contact with the families of the Head Start children in the classroom and at home.  To assist the classroom teacher with accurate written notes to help develop individualized goals for the children, provide on-going assessment and successful transition into Kindergarten.

The successful candidate must have an Associates’ Degree in Early childhood Education or related field (or in the process of obtaining).  Preference will be given to applicants with Pre-K certification or licensure.  Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement and submit a background check.  Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License and provide proof of auto insurance.  A physical examination is required before employment.

Teacher with our Head Start/Early Head Start Program in Marysville.  This position is responsible to provide a successful, safe, and supervised educational setting for the children while they are in the Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor play area and field trips).  To promote the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of Head Start Children.  To provide frequent contact with the families of the Head Start children in the classroom and at home.  To keep accurate written notes to develop individualized goals for the children, provide on-going assessment and successful transition into Kindergarten.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or in process of obtaining).  Preference will be given to applicants with a Pre-K certificate or licensure.  Two (2) years experience in Early Childhood Education program.  Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License and provide proof of auto insurance.  Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement and submit to a background check.  Aphysical examination is required before employment.

Food Service Aid with our Head Start/Early Head Start Program in Marysville and Newark.  This position will assemble and deliver healthy meals to Head Start/Early Head Start Centers in the designated area.  Ability to lift and load food carriers from floor to van.  Ability to maintain high level of daily repetitive motion with hands and arms.  Ability to stand for most of an eight (8) hour day.  Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen sanitation.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent.  Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and provide proof of auto insurance and have a clean driving record for work related driving.  Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement, complete a background check, and have a pre-employment physical.
