We are currently accepting resume’s for the following positions:

Center Administrator with our Head Start/Early Head Start program in Delaware.  This position manages the daily program operations and staff supervision.  In coordination with component managers, provides overall site program leadership.  Administers and implements policies and procedures at assigned site to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and State Licensing Regulations.  Maintain quality environments with attention to safety and health prevention measures.  Function as a liaison between the central office leadership, staff and community collaborators.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Development or related field and a minimum of two (2) years experience in an early childhood program with supervisory experience.  Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance for work related driving.  Must be able to sign the non-conviction statement and submit to a background check with the understanding that employment will not continue if background check reveals records that prohibit the employee from approval by state licensing or LEADS.  Must complete a pre-employment physical and update every three (3) years.

Family Service Worker with our Newark Head Start/Early Head Start Program.  This position is responsible for coordinating, collaborating and facilitating the effective delivery of social services and parent involvement to Head Start children, families and staff in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards and licensing regulations.  This position operates as a liaison between classroom and home settings.

The qualified candidate will have an Associates Degree in Social Work, Human Services or related field.  Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree, Social Work Certificate or Licensure.  Applicant must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and a clean driving record for work related driving.  Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement, complete a background check, and a pre-employment physical.

Assistant Teacher with our Head Start/Early Head Start Programs in Buckeye Lake, Delaware, and Marysville.  This position is responsible to assist the classroom teacher in providing a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for the children while they are in the Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor play area and field trips).  To assist the classroom teacher in promoting the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of Head Start children.  To provide frequent contact with the families of the Head Start children in the classroom and at home.  To assist the classroom teacher with accurate written notes to help develop individualized goals for the children, provide on-going assessment and successful transition into Kindergarten.

The successful candidate must have an Associates’ Degree in Early childhood Education or related field (or in the process of obtaining).  Preference will be given to applicants with Pre-K certification or licensure.  Must be able to sign a non-conviction statement and submit a background check.  Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License and provide proof of auto insurance.  A physical examination is required before employment.
